חברת הדירוג הבינלאומי CHAMBERS AND PARTNERS, המדרגת מדי שנה את משרדי עורכי הדין המובילים בעולם, פרסמה לאחרונה את מדריך הדירוג הבינלאומי שלה (GLOBAL GUIDE) לשנת 2009. דירוג צ'יימברס הוא מדירוגי פירמות עריכת הדין המובילים והיוקרתיים בבריטניה, והוא כולל דירוגים מובילים של משרדי עורכי דין גם באירופה ובעולם.
דירוג צ'מברס כולל טווח של שלוש קבוצות דירוג, והדירוג מתבצע על בסיס איכותי וזאת בהתבסס על מחקר מעמיק ועל שיחות עם עורכי דין ולקוחות של המשרדים הנבדקים.

גם במדריך לשנת 2009, כבשנים קודמות, שב ומדורג משרד אלתר בקטגוריה העליונה של תחום המס בישראל. עורכי הדירוג מציינים כי המשרד שומר על המוניטין המצוין שלו כמשרד בוטיק מוביל בתחום המיסוי:
